The Audacity of a Limitless Imagination

The sign on his Midtown NYC studio door reads Isolated Labs Inc.

MacArthur "Genius" Fellow. Trained cosmonaut. The artist who sent gold into orbit and wrote We Belong Here in neon over Brooklyn. Tavares Strachan makes the unseen impossible to ignore. Born in a clapboard house in Bain Town, he has spent his life building the world he wished he'd had at eight, and making room for everyone history left out.
