It May Evaporate But It Comes Back As Rain
Cover shot by Michael Stipe
On its own, a raindrop goes nowhere. So it finds the others.
Luke Evans and Michael Stipe on being queer in America right now, and why the quiet ones still make waves. Two performers talk about stepping off stage with your vision blown wide open, refusing to work with egos, and staying visible: “We’re a body of water. It may evaporate but it comes back as rain. We don’t disappear.”
